Hike for Cancer

Hike for Cancer graphic of an outlined representation of a person with a backpack and a stick. "Hike for Cancer in August"

In August the Canadian Cancer Society are doing a “Hike for Cancer” which is a minimum 30km hike. I probably walk that every week, so I have put my name in to raise a few dollars to help with research.

I can now call myself a “cancer survivor” which feels very odd but it means I know first-hand the stress and difficulty from cancer diagnosis and treatment. I have family members who also know this. If there is research that can help detect and treat early in the best and most non-invasive way – that is good for us all.

Please consider making a small donation to my fundraising efforts.
