Holiday season 2022 style
Happy holidays to one and all. I usually get a good holiday break working in education but this year we still have to drive the boys around to their jobs. Luckily they both had Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day off.
During the break I have been doing some “linked-in” learning courses to improve my Linux command line knowledge as I have got myself a little home server or “Freedombox” which can run chat servers, a video conference room and various other services for the family.
My next step has been to join a coop to move our web hosting from a commercial service to a cooperative venture – I am quite excited by this prospect and so learning “Bash” is a small price to pay.

Frontburner on Twitter
I really like Frontburner. I don’t listen to every episode as many of the subjects do not interest me, but when they are covering something that piques my interest, I love the discussions and insight they can provide.
This episode looks at the takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk.
